How was my semester?
I’m really happy with how my semester went. I am most surprised by my digital media and representation class. I didn’t know what I was really signing up for, but the professor was amazing and I learned a lot. It was exciting to take a visual arts class because of how freeing it was, and I enjoyed how we could express our art in our way.
My advanced design communication class really helped me through its three projects, designing a music festival, creating an online store, and advertising a company. I was able to experience different ways a graphic designer might be needed in the industry.
I’m proud of the work I did, and I am looking forward to the fall semester! Click through my work on the right to see my projects!
What's Next?
I have an intership over the summer with the American Foundation for the Blind. It is called the Digital Accessibility Bootcamp, and we’ll learn how to make online content accessible for people with vision differences. As a graphic design student, I am interested to see how this might impact my work next year if I am looking at what I am doing through a different lens.
